Haritha Keralam Project an innovative mission put forth by the Government of kerala ,  emphasis on waste disposal at source and households and renovation and cleaning of water sources are the highlights of the project. Besides, cleanliness and development of the agriculture sector and organic family will also get focus.
To inculcate and promote general awareness about Haritha Keralam mission, the ASAP students of GBHSS Chittur organised a program. The program had started at 8:30 A.M. with a prayer song followed by a speech by Aswini V. Principal Mrs. Geetha V, Program Manager Mr. Jerin Raju Thomas  shared their thoughts and feelings on the need for conserving nature and the steps that we can implement to attain the goal of Haritha keralam mission. The ASAP students actively participated in the programs by preparing charts and an exhibition was also conducted. The main objective is to facilitate awareness among the students regarding the importance of organic farming.
The program was successfully ended when Principal, Program Manager, SDE and students planted seedlings in the school compound. With the relentless efforts of students, the able guidance and support of Principal, Coordinator and Program Manager, the program turned out to be a great success.

To inculcate and promote general awareness and application oriented learning, students of GBHSS Chittur, KKMHSS Vandithavalam and PPHSS Kannimari of 2018 -2019 batch were brought together at SDC chittur on 26th January   for a one day workshop programme. The programme was entitled as 'KEY'. The major objective of the programme is to have a break from academic routine. August 19 is observed as World Photography day, which aims to inspire photographers across the planet to share a single photo with a simple purpose: to share their world with the world. In relation with Photography day, Radiance ASAP club students of GBHSS Chittur conducted a mobile photography competition for the Plus one students to explore their photography skills. The competition was from 29/10/18 to 5/11/18. The entries were received through whatsapp. With the support of school management, teachers and students the programme turned out to be a great success. The winner Ajay Kumar S of plus one computer science was awarded with a trophy and certificate in the school assembly.
