“The mind ought sometimes to be diverted that it may return the better to thinking”. To have a break from academic routine we organize many programs. From the year before last, we had introduced a new program by clubbing the students of Green Army & Knowledge Lantern. They together organised an event – “Nutri fest” on 23rd Nov 2016.  Most of the children actively participated. The main objective of the program is to make all aware of healthy food habits and their role in regular diet rather than junk foods. It was a full day program. Girls and boys actively participated in making delicious foods such as veg burgers, sandwiches, veg salads, fruit salads, and cool drinks such as avil milk, butter milk, nannari sarbath, & traditional foods of Kerala.
The principal Mrs. Geetha V inaugurated the function, coordinator Mr Ameerali B, and other teaching staffs shared their views about healthy diet. The programs major attraction was the chart exhibition and food stalls. Apart from chart exhibition we displayed the food items in a stall. The food stalls turned out to be a great success with active participation of teachers, non teaching staffs and students. This would instil a special experience to ASAP students as they move on from this first milestone into the next big step in their academic career. The joy that this occasion brought the students and faculties who attended it is an inspiration to repeat the experience.
