Students of GBHSS Chittur organised a Nutri Fest on 16 th August 2019. The main objective of the program is to raise fund for flood relief. It was really a great innovative step by the students. Students with the help of their parents prepared the food items and a stall was set up at the school campus. The Principal Mrs Geetha V inaugurated the function, coordinator Mr Ameerali B, other teachers, Program manager Mr Arun V, SDE Mrs. Princy J shared their thoughts. The program gathered not only the attention of students but also the teaching and non teaching staffs. The joy that this occasion brought the students and faculties who attended it is an inspiration to repeat the experience. With the support of Principal, Coordinator, teaching staffs and SDE the program was a great success

World Environment day was celebrated in GBHSS Chittur by the ASAP students on 8/6/19. From the year before last, we celebrated by planting saplings and made a vegetable garden in the school campus. Along with that students made an effort to reduce the plastic waste by making bottle gardens from the bottles collected from the school campus. With the relentless efforts of students, the able guidance and support of Principal Mrs. Geetha V, school coordinator Mr. Ameerali B, Programme Manager MR. Arun V, SDE Mrs. Princy J, the Programme turned out to be a great success.
To inculcate and promote general awareness and application oriented learning, students of GBHSS Chittur, KKMHSS Vandithavalam and PPHSS Kannimari of 2018 -2019 batch were brought together at SDC chittur on 26th January   for a one day workshop programme. The programme was entitled as 'KEY'. The major objective of the programme is to have a break from academic routine. Two sessions were there.   The First one was handled by Mr. Siju Rajan, Master trainer,   ASAP Kerala and Ms. Princy J,   SDE ASAP Kerala.   It mainly focused on the activities that promote child development, motivating the child to communicate his /her thoughts and various concepts were explained through experiments and demonstrations.   Second session was handled by Mr. Purushothaman, Sangavi Cooperation Senior Manager.   The topic handled by him was Anger management.   The joy that this occasion brought the students and faculties who attended it is an inspiration to...
August 19 is observed as World Photography day, which aims to inspire photographers across the planet to share a single photo with a simple purpose: to share their world with the world. In relation with Photography day, Radiance ASAP club students of GBHSS Chittur conducted a mobile photography competition for the Plus one students to explore their photography skills. The competition was from 29/10/18 to 5/11/18. The entries were received through whatsapp. With the support of school management, teachers and students the programme turned out to be a great success. The winner Ajay Kumar S of plus one computer science was awarded with a trophy and certificate in the school assembly.  
Radiance ASAP club inauguration was organised by the ASAP students of GBHSS Chittur were held on 19 th September 2018.   From the year before last, we had included an orientation program for the plus one students along with the inauguration. Program had started at 11.00 AM with a prayer song followed by welcome speech by Roshmi T R, President of Radiance club. School coordinator Mr. Ameerali B, District Programme Manager Mr Sree Hari, Mastrer trainer Mr. Siju Rajan, SDE Princy J, shared their views about ASAP. It was followed by the performance of ASAP students. Featured entertainments were Mime, speech. We had decided to conduct a number of activities and competitions through out to improve the skills of students. Vote of thanks was given by Ajith S, Secretary of Radiance club. To have a break from academic routine, ASAP club of GBHSS Chittur organise many programs. On 6 th July 2018, we conducted a Caroms and Handwriting competition. The main objective of the program was to introduce ASAP to plus one students. Program had started at 1.00 PM. Plus two Students organised the program with the assistance and support of SDE, Princy J and Program manager, Ninu Jaganivas. Most of the students actively participated and it turned out to be a great success. The winners were rewarded with Trophy and Certificates. The joy of the occasion brought the students and faculties who attended it are an inspiration to repeat the experience.
Goods and service Tax law in India is a comprehensive, multi-stage, destination based Tax that will be levied on every value addition. GST law has replaced many indirect Tax laws previously existed in India. To promote general awareness about GST, Knowledge Lantern ASAP club of GBHSS Chittur organized a program on 27 th October 2017. Program had started at 1.00 PM with a prayer song followed by a welcome speech by Sunil K. Program Manager Mr. Jerin Raju Thomas and other teachers had done the felicitation. The session was taken by the Master Trainer and GST trainer Mr.Siju Rajan. The session was really informative as he shared views of GST like advantages, components, what changes do GST brought in?
